Turtle dove/Divja grlica

Description:

Lightly gray, medium-pigeon sized bird with light brown wings and black spots on it, black tail and tiny head.

Habitat:

Asia, Africa, Europe.

Notes:

This dove was so quick I hardly got a chance to catch it on camera :)

As far as I can see both have the markings but in yours can't see the real shape of it. But it doesn't matter because in Europe there are no other doves that look this similar to turtle dove so this is the only option. These are the only birds we have in Europe from genus: Streptopelia, http://carolinabirds.org/HTML/EU_Dove_Ol... Oh, and this one is a migratory birds so we have it here from spring till end of summer.
