Thanks Leuba and Adarsha. Leuba I think that the caterpillar had webbed itself before turning into a pupa.

Thank you Claire and bayucca, unfortunately the adult has taken off. I checked the pupa yesterday and it was empty (as seen in the last shot). How many days is the transformation period normally? It was 9 days from the day it started transforming till yesterday.

Erebidae, Lymantriinae, Leucomini, Perina sp., might be Perina nuda. Try to get as much pictures you can, specially from the pupa and the adult!!
