Eastern Yellow-Bellied Racers (Juveniles)

Coluber constrictor flaviventris

Description:

These two baby racers, along with two others (not pictured), were found as eggs at the Tulsa Zoo and were kept by one of employees (Project Noah user Aaron_G). They recently hatched and these two have shed! They will be released soon where they were found. Here is an adult of this species I found a couple months ago (not in Tulsa, but in Bartlesville, OK): http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/274.... UPDATE: They were released today (8/18/2013)! Check out Aaron_G's photos: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/369....

Habitat:

These eggs were found at the Tulsa Zoo (a city park).

They are very cute! If you didn't read it, these were the ones that Mr. Goodwin hatched. :)
