Elephas maximus
Asian elephants are smaller than the African elephant. They way up to 9,000 bl. or 4 tones for females(a.k.a. Cows) and 11,000 bl. or 5 tones for males ( a.k.a. Bulls). They are endangered just like the African elephant, hunted for their ivory and being used for labor work in India.
I took these pictures while it was raining at Zoo Miami, Florida.
