Passion Vine Bug

Diactor bilineatus

Description:

An insect of very quiet behavior. Their only form of defense at first is hiding behind the leaves where he likes to stay.

Habitat:

This specimen was found in the Brazil's interior, state of Minas Gerais, an area dominated by coffee production where there are very few remnants of the its original rainforest.

Notes:

One of the most exotic and diverse insects that I know. There are so many similar species that I do not know if it would be possible to identify this just for this photo.
