Minero

Geositta sp.

Description:

Looks like a mockingbird but with a short tail.
Is seemed to be leading our way for a while, maybe it's used to people hiking around.

Notes:

Thanks to Michael Wayman for suggesting a “Minero” (Geositta sp.) though I can't make out if it is a Geositta rufipennis (Minero Corillerano) or a Geositta isabellina (Minero Grande) because I didn't see it flying, and the difference lies in a reddish band in the wing of the first.
But by the pictures I'd go for Minero Cordillerano.

Gracias Michael, estoy de acuerdo, es un minero. También le dicen caminante, cosa que tiene mucho sentido, porque caminó todo el rato.
