Texas Horned Lizard (Baby)

Phrynosoma cornutum

Description:

This guy hatched out about a month ago, and is about the size of a quarter. Tan body with dark blotches on the back and spikes on the body. There are also 4 horns on the back of the head.

Habitat:

Found running on a sand road in a mixed grass prairie.
