Flatida rosea
Many of these nymphs were seen on the same bush in the park, but I saw them nowhere else.
Anja Reserve. Photo #3 is of the terrain.
wow it most definitely was, VFT... thanks for your amazement!
thanks Torsten, I changed it...
Hi Pam, the correct scientific name is Flatida rosea (Phromnia is a synonyme of Flatida).
Maybe, Muchpuk, maybe! Carnival in Anja Reserve...
wow!
Hahahahha these are hilarious! Is it carnaval?
No Torsten, I didn't see any adults. The guide said I was very lucky to see these nymphs as it was quite late in the season for them.
Hahaha Cindy. Can't get my head around these being hoppers. Guess I have to read up on hoppers!
Hi Pam, funny little creatures! Did you see/spot any adults (often to be seen in aggregations)?
thanks doreen, beaker and Rieko. Pretty wierd looking, eh? And they were really tiny. Looked like little moving balls of fluff till one got close!
More wonderful hoppers! Love your collection, Pam!
Amazing.
Wow! That is phenomenal:)
How weird. Nice!
