Many of these nymphs were seen on the same bush in the park, but I saw them nowhere else.

Hi Pam, the correct scientific name is Flatida rosea (Phromnia is a synonyme of Flatida).

No Torsten, I didn't see any adults. The guide said I was very lucky to see these nymphs as it was quite late in the season for them.

thanks doreen, beaker and Rieko. Pretty wierd looking, eh? And they were really tiny. Looked like little moving balls of fluff till one got close!
