Castiarina fossoria
This lovely jewel beetle had cream-coloured elytra with rows of puncturations running down the elytra. The inner margins of the elytra had a narrow linear black marking for two-thirds of its length, near the apex this marking broadened looking like a blunt arrowhead. The outer margin of the elytra at the apex was tinged red. Thorax and head were dark with a greenish iridescence.
Spotted on tea-tree in a park. (Cardinia Reservoir Park)
Family: Bupresitidae
