Lamium galeobdolon
The Yellow archangel is a European wildflower belonging to the family Lamiaceae. The flowers are yellow and grouped in crowns along a square, hairy stem, and the leaves are opposite.
Shady and moist forest spot, alt. 1600 m.
Despite its common name of "yellow nettle" in French ("ortie jaune"), this is not a nettle (genus Urtica ); it does not even sting.

Thanks Dan :-)
Lamium flowers are small but they're always so beautiful when you can see the detail. Nice spot D.
