Small Coral fungus

Ramariopsis crocea

Description:

A delicate highly branched bright yellow coral fungus with pointy bifurcated tips. It grows in small clumps and stands-out amongst the leaf and wood debris because of its colour. The branches were about 30 mm tall.

Habitat:

Spotted amongst moss in a moist area under eucalytpus trees. http://bie.ala.org.au/species/8d0c4b6c-7...
