http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/436... Thank you for your comment. :) Hi, Sintija, I have the butterfly photos. I'm hoping an expert send the correct ID. :)) I think I'll post the photos.
Hi Kel, hope you can put up a picture of the adult of this! What does the cocoon look like?
you saw it?! :))))) do you have a photo of it? :)
Thank Sintija, you're very sweet. :))) the butterfly emerged. hurray!
thank you very much, doreen.
Very, very, very beautiful!!!!! :)))
Lovely!
thanks for all the kind comments and favorites. Juan DiTrani, thanks. through your comment I found this site: http://leps.thenalls.net/content2.php?re.... the caterpillar of this site is identical to caterpillar that I found. You can have an idea of the size. But I'm not sure that this is caterpillar 'Rekoa Marius'; I've never seen this species in my backyard.
Quando eu olho para ela me lembro de romã.
Sckel - very cool picture. Beautiful.
I think this is a Lycaenid caterpillar. Take a look at this one, is very similar http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/830...
So beautiful and rare find Sckel, very cool, awesome collour, congrats and thanks for sharing
Excellent find Kel :)
That is really interesting.
is very little caterpillar. I think it's Lycaenidae. the bristles are urticant. It was pink because of the red flowers that It ate. It turned into a green cocoon, the size of a bean. thanks, Gilma, lauren, dan, venus and bill. I'll photograph the cocoon later. :)
Gorgeous!!
This one is wondrous Sckel! It looks like it belongs in the ocean - more like some kind of Nudibranch!
Spectacular kel! Amazing!
crazy caterpillar!
