Hi lauren. Sorry, I haven't seen your comment. the pink caterpillar became a small cocoon. Here are the photos:

Juan DiTrani, thanks. through your comment I found this site: http://leps.thenalls.net/content2.php?re.... the caterpillar of this site is identical to caterpillar that I found. You can have an idea of the size. But I'm not sure that this is caterpillar 'Rekoa Marius'; I've never seen this species in my backyard.

I think this is a Lycaenid caterpillar. Take a look at this one, is very similar http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/830...

So beautiful and rare find Sckel,very cool,awesome collour,congrats and thanks for sharing

is very little caterpillar. I think it's Lycaenidae. the bristles are urticant. It was pink because of the red flowers that It ate. It turned into a green cocoon, the size of a bean. thanks, Gilma, lauren, dan, venus and bill. I'll photograph the cocoon later. :)
