Ricinus communis
Shrublike, red-purplish stems with bright red leaves that get stronger with maturity and full sun. The seeds are small and white, the fruit is the red/pink prickly ball. The maximum height of this plant is 1.8 meters.
The castor oil plant originates in Asia and Africa. It's also a herbaceous ornamental plant.
If the seeds are broken, they are highly poisonous. An allergic reaction to the skin can happen if you come in contact. If ingested the results may be fatal. -Taylor Brown

I guess it would be best for me to stay away form these plants. I have been pricked by them a number of times, but never once did I stop to think that they could be deadly!
