Description:

Bright red 'fruits' on smoky pale green lichen stems give the common name of British soldier lichen. Other fascinating shapes like cups and parsley-like leaves occur with the growth and the tallest structures were about 15mm.

Habitat:

On a large eucalyptus log in a local state forest.

Notes:

Ascomycetes at heart.
