Just as a guess, I'd place it in Brahmaeidae, the Brahman moths. It has a similar way of holding itself, and tails are common.

What I also find very strange about this caterpillar is the fact that its prolegs begin to disappear the closer the head they are. Its almost as if the skin has digested the prolegs.
