Medium sized, erect plant with a moderately hairy stem. Leaves have even serration along the edges. Small, pinkish-purple and white flowers produced singly (?) or in small clusters under the top leaves. Introduce from Europe.
Temperate forest. Blydenburgh County Park, NY.

Mark, I can't take the credit for the ID. Dave McLain on Northeast Wildflowers page on FB got me the ID. He's been very helpful for a number of my unknowns. About the name, yes, interesting. I have a couple of other alternate names in the tags. It is neither hemp nor nettle. :-P

Yes, Mark, but the flowers don't match that genus. I am leaning towards something in the mint family. I didn't rub the leaves to see if it was aromatic.
Leaves and hairs looks a bit like some Urtica...
