For my spotting number 1,300, I choose this beautiful Praying Mantis, not that big, just around 5 cm in size. Found it on a plant that was nicely scented, not sure what plant it was though. Pic #3 and #4 shows the leafs of the plant. Pics #1 & #2 for close-up and to showcase this beauty :)

Congrats Albert on hitting this great milestone and on another spotting of the day! A banded flower mantis lies in wait for its prey. Mantises are ambush predators, relying on camouflage to conceal them from their prey.
