found ranging from West Asia and Central Asia to the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia this one was found in Vadavally, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu State, India

looks like a fledgling about to turn into juvenile. Great Photograph , Vincent!!
My first thought was also a juvenile; the spotting maybe part of its youthful appearance.
