Gonocephalus chamaeleontinus
lizard resting on a branch, mostly brown with hints of green ' The lifestyle is close to that of the chameleons. The females are green, with the males bluer, with yellow touches.'
montane rainforest, 1200m
I spotted this lizard resting on a branch and took some photos from a distance and slowly worked my way closer, taking photos as I approached. The lizard was extremely calm and allowed me to approach very closely to get these shots. I was really happy with my shots and left it undisturbed. Gunung Halimun national park.

Thanks dotun and Jason. You were lucky too, having it climb onto your head!
Nice profile!
Cool lizard, isn't it! I agree with u, this lizard is very calm.. I also just spotted a fat green one a few days ago in Malang, East Java.. Even I can put it on my hand and it climbed onto my head.. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/422...
