Male: Black head with fairly long, pointed beak, chest, belly, and undertail bright orange, wings black with white streaks, orange wingbar. Female: Head dull orange with gray/black spots, fairly long, pointy beak, chest, belly, and undertail dull orange, wings gray with white wingbars.

Habitat:

Forest near a creek.
