Congratulations Leana, this rarely photographed beauty is our Spotting of the Day!
"A rarely photographed Philippines endemic! This Flat Skipper (Gerosis corona corona) is our Spotting of the Day! We found only one other tagged online image of a living specimen for this skipper (family Hesperiidae, sub-family Pyrginae or spread-wings skippers). Project Noah member Leana Lahom-Cristobal spotted this beauty in a forested area near a water source in the Aurora National Park. Leana is a founder of Philippine Lepidoptera".
