Brotogeris jugularis
A flock of orange-chinned parakeets were enjoying the breeze at the top of tree branches near the Espadilla beach in Manuel Antonio. These parakeets are about 17.5 cm long and mainly green with some of the wing feathers brown/bronze. They have a small clump of bright orange feathers under the beak, hence one of its common names. The beak is light pink/tan coloured. Behavior
