Description:

Order: Asterales > Family: Asteraceae. With a fairly square stem for a composite, these interesting flowers bloomed in a cluster along a open roadside and stood maybe 3 feet tall hat the highest. The species occurs from the midwest to Texas and east to Northern Florida, and South Carolina.
