Extremely colourful bird. Slightly dumpy though...and it wags its tail like a happy dog at times!

Habitat:

Just outside my house...on an electric wire.

Thanks, Hema. So true...when I pointed it out to an Engineer who was overseeing the repairs to my house....he said...Oh! took it to be a sparrow. It is so small!

I just love these.Bombay has tons too.It is funny how this colorful bird has become "matter of fact" in the hustle and bustle.If people had to pay to see it ,it would be appreciated more.
