Description:

Concentrated clumps of these were growing from buried timber and wood chip mulch. Yet to develop fully the largest caps were about 22mm wide. Distinctive marginate, white gills slightly decurrent and adnexed with many small cross-veins?

Habitat:

In a kids play area in a local nature reserve.

Notes:

Also grow on dead tree stumps and branches.

Hmm.. just noticed that weird little orange ball with green spots (pic3) I wonder what it is?
