Lissotriton boscai
Bosca's newt (Lissotriton boscai, formerly Triturus boscai), also known as the Iberian newt, is a species of newt in the Salamandridae family. It is found in Portugal and western Spain. Its natural habitats are temperate forests, Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, rivers, intermittent rivers, swamps, freshwater lakes, intermittent freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, sandy shores, arable land, pastureland, rural gardens, water storage areas, ponds, and introduced vegetation. It is threatened by habitat loss.

Thanks Ashley,this year is going to be great to batraquiens i saw them all arround,not many species,but the ones we haved allready spotted last years are very strong,i hope that is due to the good envirenement and not only to the more humidity of last winter and of this autum :-)

Thanks Christiane,they dont have afraid of nothing,not even the cats mess with them,he was confronting the camera,this year we haved a huge number of little ones in the backyard,very cool animal
