Mexican Mud Turtle

Kinosternon integrum

Description:

Mexican Mud Turtle inside an underground tank 6 feet deep in a construction site. I went inside and let it go in some bushes.

Habitat:

Rocky and arid hill. It is raining now but during the dry season there is no water around for months. I really don't know how they manage to survive.
