A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
An Orange-brown Moth which landed for the day on a perfect background for camouflage. It shared the leaf with a batch of green and yellow Sawfly larvae which had eaten patches of brown into the green leaf. The moth tried to stay on a drier part of the leaf, shifting slightly if the larvae came too close. Family Erebidae.
Mendenhall Glacier National Park, Juneau, Alaska.
