Eastern Polyphemus Moth

Antheraea polyphemus

Description:

Three disembodied wings having belonged to an Eastern polyphemus moth.

Notes:

I found this poor little guy in pieces - maybe it was attacked by a bird or something. Whatever happened, it's a sad way to kick off Moth Week.
