Cassidinae
This little Tortoise shell beetle (just about 10mm large) has a rounded transparent shell covering legs and head. Gold metallic body, some parts metallic brown. The Cassidinae (tortoise and leaf-mining beetles) are a subfamily of the leaf beetles, or Chrysomelidae.
Spotted in a city park near Kuala Lumpur.
It has been the very first time I saw this beetle, I knew it exist thanks to project Noah but it was a nice surprise to find it in a park in the middle of the city, I just have been able to take a decent pic before he open the wings and leave.
