Spotting

Description:

Very odd looking beetle of around 6mm in length. Perhaps some kind of leaf beetle... Red coloured with some white 'dusting', which is more dense on thorax, making it look paler compared to the rest of the body.

Habitat:

Found on eucaliptus leaf in coastal area with plenty of Maleleuca trees.

Hmm.. I see what you mean. Looking up your suggestion, I came across the genus Chlamisus (warty leaf beetle). No clear match, though.
