Hacklemesh Weaver Spider

Callobius Bennetti

Description:

Hacklemesh Weavers are a family of spiders (Amaurobiidae) known to build irregular looking webs in bark and woodpiles. Physically, they tend to have a two-toned body with a shiny looking cephalothorax and fuzzy abdomen with a pattern.

Habitat:

Both can live through the winter, and therefore they are often found in households during the cold weather.

Notes:

This is a Female. I read their bites can really hurt.
