Carolina wren (nest and eggs)

Thryothorus ludovicianus

Description:

2 years ago we had a wren nesting in the drawer of our grill. This year one decided to build her nest in some styrofoam packaging stacked by our back door ready to take to the recycling center. The nest was abandoned by the time we found it but we do have a wren nesting in a box a few feet away on the house wall.

Habitat:

Semi rural
