Wonderful. Maybe a young painted snail.
Yes, at least one side is flattened. The shell pattern is cool. I can't figure out how the patterns are created, keeping in mind that the shell is made one 'line' at a time, kind of like a printer.
Interesting shell pattern. And the shell also seems to have flattened sides rather than rounded.
