Description:

Perennial. Flowers are yellow, and emerge singly from the leaf axis. The individual flowers have five fan shaped, notched, lopsided petals and are longer than the sepals. Leaves simple, lobed, slightly folded upward, lance-shaped, dark green, occur along stem.

Habitat:

Meadow in Miller Springs Park.
