Habitat:

mostly along rocky shores, but also sand beaches and mudflats. Breeds on rocky arctic coasts and tundra.

Notes:

There was a small group foraging on the shore of this shallow beach among the washed up seaweeds. Bear Cut Preserve on Key Biscayne.
