Oospila cf. carnelunata
I found this specimen on my laundry. My home is on a region of transition between the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest.
I found the same one as yours, IDed as Oospila ecuadorata:

However, I am sceptic about the ID provided by Paulo Schwirkowski, a well known expert for Brazilian moths. I messaged him and he agreed, that his ID is probably wrong. He gave me some other clue, but I am still sceptic with Concinna, Miccularia.

The differences are in all species very subtle, but yet clear enough to exclude them.
For me the best match is still Oospila carnelunata.

Oospila albicoma is very similar, indeed. But the patches are too large for Oospila albicoma. I need to verify some of my IDeas first...
IDed as Albicoma, but this might not be correct:

I don't know... But I think maybe it's near to be an "Oospila albicoma sp."...
Uh! Very thanks "bayucca"! I'll try search and discover more about the ID... Thanks!
Geometridae, Geometrinae, Oospila sp., I try to get back with a species name and links. In the meanwhile you can take Oospila sp. as granted.
