Cichladusa ruficauda
This bird, some 20cm in length, has a greyish head, rufous back, wing covers and long rufous tail, with white-cream chest and abdomen. It also has characteristic dull red eyes.
Seen in urban setting, mainly in trees in house gardens.
Cichladusa is an African genus, encompassing three species of Palm-thrushes; all three characterized by long rufous tails and loud melodious songs. Accordingly to my literature, their ranges do not overlap. Accordingly to all of my literature, this gender is classified in Turdidae family (Robin, Thrush, Wheatear family); However, it seems that, since recently, the gender has been placed in Muscicapidae family (Old World flycatchers)
