With a wing span of about 30 mm, this pale geometrid moth had a pair of wavy grey bands running through both fore and hind wings. The costa appeared to flare outwards from the thorax. The fore wings showed two dark specks, one bigger than the other along the inner border of the submarginal area. Each hind wing also showed a single dark speck along the same border. Antennae were feathery suggesting that this is a male moth.
Spotted in a nature reserve
These moths confuse me - might have spotted it before now. Can't find a match for an ID. Probably from Subfamily Sterrhinae
