Description:

Large (~4 inch) moth with a tan body and brown paired markings.

Habitat:

Rural yard surrounded by mixed mesic hardwoods.

Notes:

Attracted to moth lights/sheet. Larvae feed on leaves of peppervine (Ampelopsis spp.), grape (Vitis spp.), and Virginia Creeper (Parthenocissus quinquefolia).
