Spotting

Habitat:

Open grassy area beside the Albert River Nile. Maybe a Small Orange Tip, Tiny Orange Tip, Colotis evagore antigone http://www.sagr.co.za/forum/viewtopic.ph...

Notes:

These tipped butterflies also not easy to ID. Looks like a Colotis annae annae, Scarlet tip, without the grey markings around the body.

A very nice Orangetip. They look similar to the North American Orangetips. The underside of the wings looks different, so that when they close their wings they can be camouflaged on a branch.

Looks very similar, Karen. Will check if this one is found in Uganda.
