Unknown Spotting ( A Conehead Katydid )

Description:

At 8:00 a.m. in the morning, I went into the garage, to take the garbage out. I looked down at the floor, and I saw a large, brown insect, resting on the garage floor. I took this brown insect, inside my house with me, so I could take some photos of it. This brown insect, was two and one fourth of an inch long. The color of this insect, was different shades of brown. The color of its wings, was different shades of brown. It had two short antennae, and two compound eyes. It had six legs. It's two rear legs, are used for jumping. It had a head, thorax, and an abdomen. Order: Orthoptera ( Grasshoppers, Crickets, and Katydids ).

I found this large, brown insect, resting on the garage floor.
