Carthusian Pink

Dianthus carthusianorum

Description:

The Carthusian pink is a rather variable herbaceous perennial plant, here growing 30 - 40 cm in height. Pink flowers in a tight flowerhead; rarely alone; flowering the whole summer, from June to September.

Habitat:

Dry grassy pastures of Mt Mourex, foothills of Jura mountains.
