Description:

Amata huebneri is a wasp mimic, black with yellow - orange bands across the abdomen and transparent windows in the wings, is a species of moth in the genus Amata of the family Erebidae, subfamily Arctiinae.

Habitat:

Spotted during a morning walt at Mangrove Anke park - Jakarta. A natural marine mangrove area at Jakarta city.

Notes:

The larvae feed on Oryza sativa. Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Arthropoda Class: Insecta Order: Lepidoptera Superfamily: Noctuoidea Family: Erebidae Genus: Amata Species: A. huebneri
