Sempervivum
My husband's Grandma had these growing in a pot by her garage and they overflowed and are growing in a huge patch but I can't think of what they are called.

Also some of the ones in the are were purplish instead of green but all from the same bunch.

Succulent was the word I've been searching for. Now lets see if we can find out which one this is :D
