Woods, fields, usually near water.
This is a male, I think O. cincta or perhaps O. rufipes. Pretty green color. According to bugguide.net the larva though they breath air are aquatic feeding on algae. I don't know if this applies to salt water. This one was found near the ocean were there is a mangrove shore by a park area.
