It's really challenging to find some of the little guys. It makes it that much more rewarding when you do get one.

Great picture showing off the ventral coloration. These small secretive snakes don't get the attention and respect they deserve. I am growing more fond of them as some of the larger Colubrids, like rat snakes and racers, start to show up more often.
