Caterpillar with red face, 4 rows of white tufts, a black stripe running the whole length, a tail and two antennae. The white tufts can cause an allergic reaction.

Habitat:

Spotted in Hogtown Creek Greenway of Gainesville, FL. A mainly hardwood forest with dense undergrowth, dense canopy, and slightly swampy.
