Found this wolf spider enjoying its lunch in a corner of my garage.

Habitat:

Southern United States, just about anywhere it feel like living.

Notes:

The spider is chowing down on a Palmetta bug, also known as an American cockroach (Periplaneta americana)

Growing up, I was told to never kill a wolf spider because they eat roaches....I thought that was just baloney....wrong!!!

Very cool shot. I'm going to show this to my students.
