Description:

Brownish-tan cap was slightly fuzzy-looking and was 3-4 inches in size. Pores were spongy and bruised immediately upon touch – a reddish brown color. Stipe was also brown.

Habitat:

Growing in a mostly hardwood forest near a pond.
